We started with one simple question: Why do so many people go without health insurance?
In a college lecture, a professor asked nearly 100 students to raise their hands if they had coverage.

Only about 15–20 did. That moment showed how many people are left uncovered not because they don’t care, but because insurance feels complicated out of reach, and at times untrustworthy.

We created Hernandez Insurance Advisors to change that by making guidance simple, affordable, and trustworthy for everyone, from young adults to retirees.

This is our home, and we’re proud of it. From in-person meetings to phone or virtual consultations anywhere in Texas, we meet you where you are. And because we believe everyone deserves access to guidance they can trust, our services are always offered at no cost.

  • Our consultations and ongoing support are always at no cost. Whether it’s your first meeting or follow-up help later, you’ll never be charged.

  • For Marketplace (ACA) clients, we offer virtual appointments through Zoom or phone whichever you prefer.

    For Medicare clients in El Paso, we also provide in-home visits at no cost.

  • We’re licensed and contracted with major insurance carriers (companies). They compensate us directly, which means our services are always at no cost to you and our advice remains unbiased.

  • If you’re between the ages of 19–64 and don’t have coverage through an employer or parent, Marketplace (ACA) is usually the right fit.

    If you’re 65 or older, or qualify through disability, Medicare is the best option.

    During your consultation, we’ll confirm which applies to you and guide you through the process.
